Tackling Avian Flu Together: Side Event at WHA78
Every year, delegates from World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) 194 member states gather in Geneva for the World Health Assembly (WHA), the decision-making body of the WHO.
On 22 May 2025, the World Egg Organisation (WEO) are hosting an event alongside the 78th WHA, bringing together experts to address the ongoing challenges posed by highly pathogenic avian influenza and promote collaborative efforts across animal health, public health, and the global egg industry.
Join us at a critical time for the control of avian influenza, which poses significant challenges to public health, food security, and the sustainability of the egg industry.
