Sunday 15 September

17:00 Welcome Reception – Palazzo Dandolo, Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal

We invited delegates and registered companions to join us as the global egg industry united for the IEC’s 60th anniversary celebratory event in Venice. This 2-hour Welcome Reception was held in the elegant Palazzo Dandolo. Overlooking the Grand Canal, this venue is provided the perfect backdrop for delegates to reunite with industry peers and establish new business connections over drinks and canapes, ahead of the conference’s official opening.

Dress code: Smart casual. We recommend comfortable shoes as guests will be walking from the Cornoldi Pier to the venue.

18:45 to 19:15 Guides walked with attendees from Palazzo Dandolo to Cornoldi Pier to return to Hilton Molino Stucky via boats.

After the first day of conference sessions, delegates and registered companions were invited on a water coach ride to the spectacular Hotel Excelsior on Lido Island. Surrounded by white sand and blue seas, attendees enjoyed drinks on the legendary terrace of the world-famous Film Festival venue, before having an informal buffet-style dinner.
