Egg Farmers Australia will be hosting their third World Egg Day event at Parliament House in Canberra, supported by a press release and a team breakfast.
Australian Eggs is celebrating World Egg Day’s 30th anniversary with a “30 Years. 30 Recipes. 30 Reasons.” campaign, combining egg consumption insights, recipe inspiration and nutrition education across social, media, influencer and digital food and lifestyle channels.
Brazil
São Paulo State University (UNESP) is organising its second World Egg Day celebration, bringing together students, researchers and poultry professionals to explore the egg production chain, market perspectives and innovation.
Canada
Egg Farmers of Canada are launching a national PR campaign celebrating Canada’s 1,290 egg farmers, featuring playful trivia videos with Canadian media, a new farmer video and social media engagement to mark World Egg Day.
Manitoba Egg Farmers will host a World Egg Day event at RRC Polytech in Winnipeg, serving 800–900 egg bites and engaging students with egg farmers, educational materials, giveaways, and a photo booth.
Hungary
#hashtEGG has launched a nationwide creative competition for kindergarten and school groups, inviting children to explore eggs through videos, poems, stories, songs, artwork and other projects. The most creative groups will be invited to an egg-themed adventure park that promotes egg nutrition through creativity, education, and fun.
Netherlands
The Poultry Expertise Centre will celebrate with a mobile egg-shaped kitchen, farm open days, an egg-themed lunch, information flyers, and a ‘Meet the Farmer’ event featuring freshly cooked eggs.
Macedonia
The World Poultry Science Association – Macedonia Branch will take part in an international running race in Skopje on 4 October, with runners branded with World Egg Day 2026 logos and messaging.

Instituto de Estudios del Huevo and INPROVO are hosting the annual World Egg Day event, presenting research and communication awards and celebrating the Institute’s 30th anniversary with a review of its work and impact in Spain.
Sri Lanka
The University of Ruhuna is hosting a two-day programme for pregnant mothers and primary school children, featuring Egg Olympics, nutrition awareness sessions, farmer engagement and pre- and post-event surveys, promoting the 2026 theme “Protein that Powers and Protects.”
United Kingdom
